Cudal
Cudal, situated 40 kilometers west of Orange is in the heart of Cabonne Country.
A beautiful farming area with wool, fat lambs, cattle, wheat and canola as it's main produce. In recent times added to these is viticulture and wine making.
The town has a preschool and a primary school, with secondary students using the bus services to either Canowindra High School or one of the High Schools in Orange.
In Cudal there is accommodation at the Cudal Motel, the refurbished Royal Hotel and the caravan park.
To the left as you head towards Orange, is the Cudal Mohair Stud which produces fine quality mohair.
