Interview - Working from Home:

What are the negative points about working at home?

No passing trade For advertisement.

What was the deciding factor to help you to decide to work from home?

To build a studio at home I do not have pay wages for someone to sit in studio when I am on location.

How do you cope with distractions at home?

I don’t really have any as my family know that is my business time (don’t interrupt)

What two pieces of advice would you suggest to someone considering working from home?

Make your work place separate to your house.

Does your home working pay the bills?

It helps a lot but I am not full time bus at home as not enough people know about my studio

How did you manage financially when you first started working at home?

The business was supported by other income

What sort of work did you do before you worked at home?

Owned a 1 hr photo lab and my own studio

How do you manage your time?

My mind is on both jobs and keep an organised diary

How do you cope with the isolation of working at home?

With my business you are on location and have clients visit,

Anything else you feel needs to be said?

Working from home would be ideal once your business has an established name and people know where to find you straight away.
